this week in science #3

     Well T.W.I.S I did a driving question to our plant launch.  We wrote notes down about some questions we had then we wrote procedures and a hypothesis on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. we gathered also wrote a procedure on how we gather our plant data. i was not here for data day 1, but for data day 2 we had to graph a sketch of unorganized data. And for data day 2 we made a big graph on the unorganized data and hung them up in the hallway.
     We learned how to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, i learned how to make a hypothesis, and i learned how to organize data on a graph.

This week in science 2

       This week in science I learned some vocabulary about the words testable, independent variable, and dependent variable. I also learned some independent and dependent variables about plants.  I learned some facts on brassica rapa, like the are dicots, they can grow up to 0.5 meters(1 ft 8 in), and they grow very quickly. They also have a secondary name which is the turnip.
   This week in science we had research brassica rapa and get as much facts on it as possible. We had to then set up the cups and plant the seeds for brassica rapa. We put three seeds in each cup and then put as much water we felt the plants needed. We did this because each group had a question to experiment on. And my groups question was how would the depth of the seeds affect the growth of the plant? We did it so now we wait.
